I’ve been trying to see a moose up close since I’ve been in Alaska (Oct). I haven’t seen any yet, people talk about it all the time here and I almost think they’re exaggerating a bit because how can everyone see it and I haven’t seen any yet? I even take my camera and seek them out, but nothing. But you know the saying, when you’re looking for them you won’t find it, but when you least expect it they’re everywhere. So anyways, Friday I get a few text from my co-workers telling me about 3 bulls that are fighting down the street.

A Hunger for the shot
It’s hard to explain, I have this hunger inside of me, this thirst of trying to get the perfect shot. I’m constantly seeking it out, everyday when I’m driving, every weekend, every sunsetI’m constantly trying to take better and better shots. I don’t want to be a ‘good photographer’. I want to be “Great!”.

Vacation at home
Blurry Shot 
So I just got back from my vacation, which was ironically back in Hawaii. It was so nice to be with loved ones and perfect weather. The waves were really good up country, I was shooting nearly everyday with a nice swell and good conditions. I took over 1,000 shots and spent hours in the water for 7 days.
